The SARTA Tech Sector

 

SARTA’s mission is to accelerate the growth and development of technology companies and the technology sector in the Sacramento region.SARTA's vision is to develop the Sacramento region into a nationally recognized center of technology and technological innovation, as evidenced by a significant number of technology companies growing, developing and prospering in the region.

To this end, we support entrepreneurial programs, companies and technology investment throughout Butte, El Dorado, Nevada, Placer, Sacramento, Solano, Sutter, Yolo and Yuba counties. We have identified over 500 (as of Q4 2007) technology companies located in the region. Within the organization, we call this the SARTA Tech Sector.
